Kim Ashcraft

Born in wild and wonderful West Virginia, Kim Ashcraft moved to Richmond, Virginia.

In 1955, 62 years later, Richmond is certainly home sweet home. Kim and his father started an insurance agency in 1981, and they sold that agency in 1986. Kim and his partners opened Ashcraft Insurance in 1991, where they have proudly served their clients ever since. Service beyond the expected has been the hallmark of their agency from day one. They wake up every day with the realization that their insureds can buy insurance anywhere, so they try hard to distinguish themselves by the services the agency provides and the fairness they impart daily.

Kim’s primary functions are maintaining relationships with his insured’s, many of whom have stayed with him for over 30 years. Establishing solid partnerships with those insurance companies they depend on to provide coverages and great pricing for their insureds has become a primary function. Ashcraft Insurance serves as your eyes and ears for all of your insurance needs.

In his personal time, Kim enjoys playing golf, working in his yard, searching for the perfect car, listening to live music and most importantly, time with his family and friends. For Kim, 36 years in this business has allowed him to make a great living and fortunately, many valued friendships.
